So far the Kijang Innova (previous version) has come with two engine types: 2,000 cc gasoline engine with VVT-i technology and the 2.500 cc diesel engine with direct 4-stroke common-rail turbo diesel (D-4D) technology. Transmission is also available in automatic or manual option.
